Serialization know-how brought to Russia in co-operation with Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO

Five MBA students from the graduate business school SKOLKOVO are currently helping Servicepoint in creating contacts with Russian pharmaceutical manufacturers. Servicepoint was selected to participate in a consulting project led by Vladimir Preobrazhenskiy, the Head of Research at the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO.

The consulting project was directed at companies, and the selection criteria valued, among other things, Servicepoint’s ability to offer new serialization technology to the Russian market. In addition, Servicepoint already carries years of experience in automation of packaging lines in Russian factories.

“With this project, we are looking to increase our Russia expertise. We want to have a better understanding of the needs of the Russian pharmaceutical industry and be able to offer our services more efficiently to help Russian companies respond to any changes required by legislation. In Russia, serialization of medicine packages will become obligatory by 2019. We have been monitoring the development of the legislation for a long time in order to be able to provide consulting for the Russian pharmaceutical industry”, says Servicepoint’s Chief Technology Officer Iiro Jantunen.

The project was launched in November 2016 and is scheduled to be completed at the end of March 2017.
