Servicepoint and Systech share a stand at Pharm Connect

Servicepoint and Systech International will be sharing a stand in PHARM Connect which is scheduled to be held on 22–23 February in Budapest, Hungary. The partners will provide help and guidelines to pharmaceutical manufacturers in how to start up serialization projects. More than 500 representatives of the pharmaceutical industry are expected to attend the congress from over 20 countries in the Eastern Europe and Commonwealth of Independent States.

“Our most important message will be that serialization projects should be started immediately in order to get the work finished by the time limit set by the EU. The delivery times of equipment suppliers and automation integrators are becoming longer”, says Chief Customer Officer Timo Jauhiainen from Servicepoint Oy.

“We will also express that pharmaceutical companies should consider procurement from the viewpoint of their strategies. What kind of serialization system will be needed to ensure that the capacity will meet future requirements as well?”, continues Jauhiainen.

One of this year’s hot topics in the PHARM Connect Congress is serialization, which will be discussed in an interesting presentation by Neil Lawrence from pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline. The topic of his keynote presentation is: EU’s Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD): How to prepare now for the 2019 deadline?

“It will also be interesting to visit GlaxoSmithKline’s plant”, says Jauhiainen.
